Dan Wallace of Epiphan came to Jeff Moberg and I to put together a reveal video for the new Epiphan Webcaster X2. Dan Wallace and I go way back to the days of when I was only doing 2D Animation and Design so it was an incredible experience working with him again and catching up. The Webcaster X2 can stream live to either Facebook Live or YouTube.

Kobo Aura One Director’s Cut from Jeff Briant on Vimeo.
Over the summer of 2016 Asterisk Media commissioned the team to create a video for Kobo’s latest e-reader, the Aura One. The idea here was to create a visual portal into an easy to use device that would take you to far away places, unheard of adventures and beautiful worlds. As a small team with a very tight production schedule we were able to iterate quickly on a series of demanding renders and delivered dozens of localized versions. The resulting work that the team presented to the client was used as the launch video introducing the Kobo Aura One.

Later last year I was asked to assemble a team to put together an explainer video for the Timeshare Exit Team. This one was a blast to animate and I learned a few new tricks along the way. We had Justyna Stasik on design and Jeff Moberg on drums. Oh yeah, and I animated it.
